Our children at #1 at Poway SDA. Every summer we hold a week-long Vacation Bible School. Games, crafts, snacks, singing, and Bible stories keep the kids coming back every night.

Adventurers is a Christian family club for kids 5 to 9 years of age and their parents. We have meetings the first Saturdays and Sundays from 2 to 4 p.m. from September to May.

Pathfinders is a Christian scouting club for kids 10 to 16 years of age. We have meetings the first Saturdays and Sundays from 2 to 4 p.m. from September to May.

Every week on Saturdays at 9:30 a.m. the children meet to sing and learn the stories of the Bible. They also do crafts and games that go along with those Bible stories. Our Sabbath School teachers keep this time fun for our kids! Classes are available for small kids, primary, juniors, and youth

Every Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m. and every Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. the Pastor leads out in an adult Bible study class. These classes are open to all who wish to learn more about Jesus.

Keeping our families healthy and strong is very important, so at Poway SDA we have a special program for your youth and young adults. We even have a Youth Assistant just for focusing on our young people. See the events page for upcoming youth and young adult activities.

Living healthy lives is vital to living a vibrant life with Jesus. In 2008, the Poway SDA Church will host a cooking class series called “Food for Life” sponsored by THE CANCER PROJECT. See the events page for further details. The series will run from the end of October through November 2008. |

Having fun together is important to a happy, growing Church family. We have activities scheduled during the year on a regular basis. Upcoming activities for kids include a pool party in September, a trip to the Wild Animal Park in October, and a New Year's party in January. For the church, we have a retreat planned at Pine Springs Ranch in January 2009. |

Having the Bible come alive through drama livens up our worship service. We produce original plays at Easter and at Christmas, which include acting, music, and scripture readings. All are invited to participate. For 2008, two different special Christmas program are planned for December 6 and 13.

The Poway SDA Church is an active member of the North County Adventist Choir, made up of individuals from the Poway, Valley Center, Fallbrook, Maranatha, 31st Stree Adventist churches. The Easter Cantata will be performed Easter Weekend. In 2008, the Christmas Cantata will be held on
December 13 at the El Cajon SDA Church, and December 20 at the Fallbrook SDA Church. Both conerts begin at 5 p.m.
